We are located 23 km north of Grande Cache Alberta. This small mountain village is 5 hours west of Edmonton, the nearest international airport, and two hours south of Grande Prairie, with has daily regional air service. All highways are paved.
To reach the cabins you drive north out of Grande Cache on Highway 40, towards Grande Prairie. You will cross the Smoky River and then pass the entrance to Willmore Wilderness Park. Continuing on north on Hwy 40 you'll soon see a sign "BEAVERDAM ROAD" This is your turn...don't miss it
Turn west off the highway 40 onto the Beaverdam Road(you'll note a blue sign with Sheep Creek Lodge on it). The Beaverdam Road is a gravel mountain road and can be very bumpy at times. But you only have 13.5 kms. of road before you arrive at our parking area, located right along the Beaverdam Road. Park by the signed area and follow the heavily travelled trail to the Sheep Creek. There are a couple foot bridges to cross before reaching the creek. Over the main channel of the creek we have a cable car for access. Come across the creek and follow trail to cabins. From the vehicle to the cabins takes 10 -1 5 minutes depending on trail conditions.
If we know when you're coming we will meet you in the parking area....but we ask you to be on time.
Do not pack any of your gear or food as we will bring it into your cabin using our OHV!
